WHAT IS NATURE-BASED EDUCATION?

Nature-based education (NBE) is the seed that grows healthy, holistic learning for people of all ages. Nature provides the curriculum, learning environment, and inspiration to learn in, with, about, and for the natural world. NBE is a transformative process that supports developmentally appropriate practice while nurturing relationships, connecting with content, deepening environmental literacy, and empowering action.
